About the position

LEO A DALY is seeking a highly experienced Interior Designer with over 15 years of experience to join their collaborative design culture. This role focuses on transforming the human experience through innovative design solutions, particularly in the hospitality sector. The position involves a mix of technical oversight, project management, and mentorship of junior designers, ensuring high-quality deliverables while balancing project schedules and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site investigations and observations.
• Prepare narratives, design presentations, boards, drawing and specification documents with a high degree of quality.
• Manage programming, space planning, design of spaces and finishes, FF&E selection, documentation, and bid evaluation.
• Edit specifications and produce deliverable drawing sets for finish plans, interior elevations, room finish schedules, furniture plans, and interior details.
• Perform and review Revit modeling and detailing or documentation in AutoCAD.
• Facilitate cross-discipline discussions and coordination with multidisciplinary teammates.
• Oversee construction administration and support marketing/business development activities.
• Travel for project-related activities such as existing building assessments, client meetings, or construction jobsite observations.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to Levels I & II Interiors Designers.
• Attend client and internal meetings and conduct presentations.
• Participate in project team interviews for pursuits.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in Interior Design or Architecture.
• Graduation from a 4-year accredited program in Interior Design and/or Architecture.
• NCIDQ certification is required.
• Hospitality experience is preferred.
• Strong graphic, verbal, and written communication skills.
