About the position

LPA is seeking a passionate Interior Designer to join our integrated team, focusing on innovative, sustainable projects that have a positive environmental, economic, and social impact. The role involves collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and participation in all phases of project development, from inception to completion.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the integrated design process with other disciplines at LPA.
  • Assist Design Coordinators and Project Leaders in executing project-specific assignments.
  • Prepare documentation for programming, schematic design, design development, and construction documents as assigned.
  • Assist in developing communication materials for clients and review agencies regarding project development.
  • Conduct research for product and construction methods related to projects, including sustainable criteria.
  • Review and process submittals and RFIs during construction phases and attend construction meetings and field visits.
  • Create design and technical graphic presentations alongside project teams, including material samples.
  • Lead smaller projects in the integrated design process, coordinating with other disciplines on design and documentation.
  • Perform other project-related tasks as approved or assigned by team leaders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or Interior Architecture required.
  • 3+ years of experience in all phases of interior architecture projects.
  • Actively pursuing CID (or already certified) and LEED accreditation.
  • Proficiency in Revit; good knowledge of Rhino and Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
  • Knowledge of building codes, related regulations, construction materials, and specifications preferred.
  • Demonstrate independence, innovation, and vision with program, project design, and implementation.
  • Commitment to pursue high-quality construction documents.
