About the position

As an Interior Designer at DLR Group, you will collaborate with an integrated design team to manage projects from pre-design through construction administration. This role involves developing project palettes, preparing 3D renderings, and generating detailed interior finish drawings while adhering to project scope, schedule, and budget. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and team members to deliver high-quality designs in the Workplace sector, taking on additional responsibilities and seeking opportunities for professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the design team on various project stages from pre-design to construction administration.
• Develop comprehensive project palettes of materials and finishes.
• Prepare 3D renderings and presentation drawings.
• Generate interior finish drawings and details while maintaining project scope and budget parameters.
• Work collaboratively with clients, contractors, and vendors to deliver projects.
• Take responsibility for the development of design with input from the Principal in Charge and/or Design Leader.
• Manage time effectively and maintain strong client relationships.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture or equivalent.
• 5-8 years of design experience in commercial interior projects.
• Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong 3-D visualization skills.
• Ability to travel occasionally for project tasks.
• Ability to work independently and in a cross-disciplinary team atmosphere.

Nice-to-haves

• NCARB or NCIDQ certification.
