We are a customer-centric, professional and creative boutique Interior Design firm located in Charlotte, NC. We are seeking a high-energy, experienced, and talented Interior Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and functional spaces that meet our clients' needs and expectations. As an Interior Designer, you will collaborate with clients to determine their design preferences, budget, and requirements. You will create design concepts and presentations using Chief Architect and Canva software, develop detailed construction drawings and specifications, and select furniture, fabrics, materials, lighting, and other decorative items for each project. You will manage projects from concept development through to completion, coordinating with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure project success. Staying updated on the latest trends and technologies in the interior design industry is also a key part of this role. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients to determine their design preferences, budget, and requirements
  • Create design concepts and presentations using Chief Architect and Canva software
  • Develop detailed construction drawings and specifications using Chief Architect software
  • Select furniture, fabrics, materials, lighting, and other decorative items for each project
  • Manage projects from concept development through to completion
  • Coordinate with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure project success
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in the interior design industry

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field
  • Proficiency in Canva, Chief Architect and Programa software
  • Experience in the Interior Design industry 3-5 years
  • Strong ability to create detailed construction drawings and plans using Chief Architect software
  • Have a strong aesthetic that can appeal to many different design styles
  • Must have strong writing and communication skills and be an excellent listener
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Proficient in gathering social media content to forward to our media company for postings
  • Must have a fabulous sense of humor
