About the position

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for transforming spaces and a strong understanding of design principles. This role involves collaborating with clients to create functional and aesthetically pleasing environments that meet their needs and preferences. You will be responsible for managing projects from conception through execution, ensuring that all designs align with the client's vision while adhering to budgetary constraints.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients to determine their design needs, preferences, and budget.
  • Develop innovative design concepts using software tools such as Sketchup, 3ds Max, and Rhinoceros 3D.
  • Create detailed floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings to communicate design ideas effectively.
  • Manage remodeling and renovation projects, ensuring timely completion and quality standards.
  • Conduct lighting sales consultations to enhance the functionality and ambiance of spaces.
  • Utilize Bluebeam for project management tasks including document review and collaboration.
  • Source materials, furnishings, and fixtures that align with design concepts while considering sustainability.
  • Present design proposals to clients, incorporating feedback and making necessary adjustments.
  • Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and other professionals to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to provide cutting-edge designs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in interior design with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
  • Proficiency in design software including Sketchup, 3ds Max, Rhinoceros 3D, Adobe Creative Suite, and Bluebeam.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.
  • Knowledge of remodeling processes and lighting sales is a plus.
  • A keen eye for detail and a strong sense of aesthetics is essential.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
