As an Interior Designer at HDR Engineering Inc., you will play a crucial role in enhancing the aesthetic and functional aspects of healthcare environments. You will leverage your expertise in healthcare interior design, demonstrating a professional understanding of design documentation practices. Your proficiency in software tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp/Rhino, the Adobe Creative Suite, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office will be vital in creating detailed design plans and presentations. As a self-starter, you will have the autonomy to manage your projects while also contributing to team efforts, fostering a collaborative atmosphere that HDR values highly. Responsibilities

  • Be a team player, focused on collaboration.
  • Demonstrate diligence, attention to detail, and a positive attitude when meeting deadlines.
  • Exhibit outstanding communication skills and the ability to work well with both internal and external clients in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Exhibit a professional level understanding of the overall healthcare interior design process from programming through construction administration.
  • Possess a strong working knowledge of healthcare interior design and architectural design documentation practices.
  • Be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Possess strong oral and written communication skills and strong presentation and documentation skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp/Rhino (or similar), the Adobe Creative Suite, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a relevant design firm environment
  • NCIDQ certificate holder
  • ID license in state where applicable
