About the position

Azzurri Kitchens is seeking a highly motivated Architectural Designer/Interior Designer for full-time employment. The role focuses on assisting customers in developing functional layouts and designs primarily for kitchen and bath cabinetry, while also encompassing entire home projects. The successful candidate will work in a retail showroom in McLean, VA, and will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating a positive experience for clients.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in developing layouts with functional configurations and designs for their residences.
• Focus on kitchen and bath cabinetry design, while also working on entire home projects.
• Conduct professional quality presentations for clients.
• Maintain a well-groomed, professional appearance while working in the showroom and during client appointments.
• Provide exceptional customer service in a high-end retail showroom setting.
• Communicate consistently with clients, teammates, and management.
• Field measure and provide accurate dimensions for designs.
• Report weekly for individual meetings with the showroom manager.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of design and cabinetry experience.
• Experience in kitchen and bath design.
• Proficiency in Sketchup or similar programs for rendering purposes.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in designing custom cabinets and built-ins using design software.
• Strong communication and listening skills with clients.
• Excellent typing skills and knowledge of CRM systems.
• Valid driver's license and a working vehicle for client appointments.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of Moziak design software is a plus.
• Experience in sales is preferred.
