About the position

The Interior Designer role at Konik involves collaborating with an architectural team to create inspiring and functional commercial and hospitality spaces. The position requires a blend of creativity and technical skills to develop detailed interior working drawings and specifications, ensuring that projects align with design standards and client expectations.

Responsibilities

• Develop interior working drawings, including elevations, details, ceiling plans, and millwork design for commercial spaces.
• Conduct programming and space planning.
• Create FFE Specifications.
• Collaborate with project managers and internal partners, providing site observations and documentation analysis during construction.
• Review and process project submittals, RFIs, and change management documents during construction, ensuring alignment with interior design specifications.
• Perform site observations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design from a CIDA Accredited Program.
• 3+ years of interior design experience with commercial building projects.
• Proficiency with Revit.
• Experience with Enscape, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and MS Office.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
