As an Interior Designer at Montgomery Roth, you will play a crucial role in the design process, collaborating with clients and team members to create innovative and functional spaces that meet the unique needs of each project. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial, hospitality, and residential design, along with a strong background in procurement. Proficiency in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Adobe InDesign is essential. You will be expected to demonstrate strong communication, writing, and graphic skills, as well as a solid understanding of writing interior specifications and navigating the procurement process. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their design needs and preferences.
  • Develop design concepts and present them to clients for approval.
  • Create detailed drawings and specifications using AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Prepare and manage procurement processes for materials and furnishings.
  • Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure project specifications are met.
  • Conduct site visits to assess project progress and address any issues that arise.
  • Maintain project documentation and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial, hospitality, and residential design.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Adobe InDesign.
  • Strong communication and writing skills.
  • Good working knowledge of writing interior specifications.
  • Experience with the procurement process.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop and Microsoft Office Suite.
