About the position

Quorum Architects, Inc. is seeking an Interior Designer to manage a variety of projects from concept to completion. The role involves collaborating with a Principal or Architectural Project Manager to interpret and execute conceptual designs, ensuring that project requirements and objectives are met. The position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining deadlines. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, creativity, and a strong sense of self-accountability.

Responsibilities

• Work with a Principal or Architectural Project Manager to interpret and execute conceptual designs.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Specify furniture and artwork for various market sectors.
• Conduct consultations, renovations, space planning, and new constructions.
• Communicate effectively with architects, clients, consultants, contractors, and developers.
• Visit job sites to oversee project progress and compliance with design intent.
• Research and follow industry changes, trends, and best practices.

Requirements

• Proven working experience in Interior Design with at least 5 years of experience.
• Ability to meet with architects, clients, consultants, contractors, and developers.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Creative talent and imagination with an eye for design.
• Knowledge of furniture, fixture, and equipment (FF&E), architectural/interior finishes, lighting, signage, art, and color schemes.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Sketch-Up, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Enscape, Microsoft Office, and Bluebeam.

Nice-to-haves

• Professionally licensed by the National Council for Interior Design or working towards licensure.
