About the position

Talie Jane Interiors is a prestigious and award-winning design firm, recognized by Architectural Digest as Nevada's best interior design firm. We specialize in high-end new builds, remodels, and commercial projects, offering a range of trade-only products and in-house custom cabinetry for kitchens, baths, garages, and closets. Our office is located in Stateline, Nevada, at the scenic South Lake Tahoe, providing a beautiful backdrop for our creative endeavors. We are currently seeking a skilled, passionate, and dependable Interior Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have verifiable work experience with design software such as AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, Revit, Virtual Architect, and/or Live Home 3D. Proficiency in any or all of these programs is essential, as compensation will be based on the candidate's working knowledge of these tools. The successful applicant must be able to collaborate effectively within a team environment, working closely with the Principal Designer, Associate Designers, and Assistant Designers. Candidates should possess a strong background in interior design, sourcing, and a high level of proficiency with CAD software. A portfolio showcasing past work and projects is required for the interview process, and references will be contacted to verify work history, experience, and character. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Principal Designer and team members on various design projects.
  • Utilize design software such as AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, Revit, Virtual Architect, and/or Live Home 3D to create design plans.
  • Source materials and products for high-end residential and commercial projects.
  • Prepare and present design concepts to clients and stakeholders.
  • Maintain a portfolio of completed projects and design work.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in interior design with a strong portfolio of past work.
  • Proficiency in design software including AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, Revit, Virtual Architect, and/or Live Home 3D.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves
