About the position

The Senior Interior Designer at Atlantis is a pivotal role within a dynamic design-build firm known for its creativity and innovative design solutions. This position involves engaging in every phase of design projects, providing essential support to clients, and managing various design responsibilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for design, excellent organizational skills, and proficiency in AutoCAD and project management.

Responsibilities

• Handling general design responsibilities like creating boards, drawings, and FF&E schedules.
• Managing client budgets and all ordering, including specifications, purchase orders, and shipping.
• Serving as the primary liaison with vendors and subcontractors.
• Managing and maintaining thorough knowledge of all items within client files, including specifications and meeting notes.
• Performing general office operations, including phones, filing, and running errands as needed.

Requirements

• Degree in Architecture (Required)
• 5+ years of experience in architectural design
• Extremely strong AutoCAD skills (Non-negotiable; an in-depth AutoCAD assessment is required prior to an offer)
• Strong Excel skills
• Design build experience
• Self-driven work ethic with the ability to follow through on pending items and create solutions
• Strong organizational skills, including efficiency
• Ability to self-motivate and work independently
• Discretion with confidential client and business information
• Must have own laptop and vehicle

Nice-to-haves

• Comfortable in a dog-friendly office (Must love dogs)
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (up to 30% travel may be required)
