About the position

The Interior Designer role at Pure Salt Interiors is a full-time, managerial position focused on leading design projects with creativity and excellence. The designer will build lasting relationships with clients, ensuring a luxury experience from initial design to final installation. This role involves managing a team of creatives, overseeing administrative tasks, and maintaining project schedules while fostering a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead design projects through the design process.
• Manage assigned design team support, mentoring in time management and professional development.
• Create and deliver client presentations using design software.
• Maintain accurate project tracking records and communicate regularly with management.
• Review all proposals and invoices before sending them to the Project + Procurement Manager/Design Coordinator team.
• Lead client calls and meetings with professionalism and creativity.
• Maintain an understanding of job budgets and materials knowledge in partnership with clients.
• Ensure high attention to detail on all parts of the job with the design team.
• Partner with the Logistics Director on installations and manage logistics related to installs.
• Develop and lead training opportunities for team members.

Requirements

• Expert proficiency in CAD and Sketch-Up.
• Familiarity with Proposal and ERP Systems, such as Ivy, Houzz Pro, and NetSuite.
• Creative and comfortable in presentation software, preferably Keynote.
• Ability to manage, mentor, and develop a team of creatives.
• Impeccable storytelling and excellent communication skills.
• 6+ years of experience in the Interior Design industry.
• 4+ years of experience with construction project management.
• 3-5 years of leadership experience directly leading a team of creatives.
• 3-5 years of experience leading client-facing projects.
