About the position

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for transforming spaces and a strong understanding of design principles. This role involves collaborating with clients to create functional and aesthetically pleasing environments that meet their needs and preferences. The Interior Designer will utilize various design software and tools to draft plans, develop concepts, and manage projects from inception to completion.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients to determine their design needs, preferences, and budget.
  • Create detailed design plans using software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Sketchup, and Adobe.
  • Develop lighting designs and sales strategies to enhance the functionality and ambiance of spaces.
  • Draft layouts and specifications for furniture, fixtures, and materials.
  • Conduct site visits to assess spaces and gather information for design proposals.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Coordinate with contractors, architects, and other professionals involved in the project.
  • Present design concepts to clients for approval and make necessary revisions based on feedback.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to provide innovative solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field is preferred.
  • Proficiency in design software including Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketchup, and Rhinoceros 3D.
  • Experience in lighting sales or lighting design is a plus.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members professionally.
  • A keen eye for aesthetics and attention to detail in all aspects of design work.
  • Ability to build relationships with clients while understanding their vision for their space.
  • A portfolio showcasing previous design projects is highly desirable.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in lighting sales or lighting design is a plus.
  • Ability to relocate before starting work (Preferred).
