About the position

The Interior Designer will manage multiple clients through various stages of the design/build process, ensuring an exceptional client experience by creatively supporting clients while providing visibility to timing and budgets. The role involves value-added design support for various types of clients, following the MM Design Process, and collaborating with architecture and construction teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple clients through various stages of the design/build process.
• Provide value-added design support through curation and coordination with suppliers/vendors.
• Follow the MM Design Process and collaborate with architecture and construction teams.
• Utilize exceptional organization and communication skills for design planning and visualization.
• Record and communicate decisions, manage changes, and oversee bids/pricing.
• Effectively communicate knowledge of products and materials used in residential design.
• Manage time within a fluid design process while handling different clients at various phases.

Requirements

• 4-5 years of proven successful client-facing experience.
• 2-year degree in Interior Design or Architecture required.
• Experience with direct client management.
• Previous collaboration with internal departments such as sales, architecture, and construction.
• Knowledge of 3D modeling software at an intermediate level (Autocad, Sketchup, Chief Architect, Revit).
• Ability to read architectural plans and construction documents.
• Experience with high-end residential design.

Nice-to-haves

• Four-year degree in Interior Design or Architecture is preferred.
