About the position

The Interior Designer at TowerPinkster will lead design responsibilities for various projects, engaging with clients and developing comprehensive design documents. This role emphasizes creativity and technical skills, requiring the designer to produce working drawings, specifications, and 3D renderings while fostering strong client relationships and mentoring junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Lead design responsibilities for various projects and client teams.
• Complete working drawings and specifications for projects.
• Engage with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
• Develop finish plans, product selections, and casework layouts.
• Create interior elevations, renderings, and millwork designs.
• Coordinate with project teams to create interior design documents.
• Review and revise product specifications for project manuals.
• Research code requirements and barrier-free guidelines.
• Create presentation documents and 3D renderings using software like Revit and Enscape.
• Mentor junior design team members and promote learning opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited program in Interior Design.
• Five to seven years of professional Interior Design experience.
• Proficient in Revit and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and InDesign).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel).
• Working toward or have obtained NCIDQ Certification.
• 3D computer graphic skills preferred, along with hand sketching ability.
• Knowledge of building code, barrier-free, and ADA requirements.

Nice-to-haves

• Proficiency in Enscape is a plus.
