About the position

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our small, growing business specializing in vacant home staging and remodeling. The ideal candidate will work a flexible schedule, assist with staging vacant homes, and collaborate with our team to create beautiful spaces for homes going on the market for sale.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with our team to create beautiful spaces for homes that are going on the market for sale.
• Use our in-house software to make design selections.
• Develop and/or improve kits that include bedding, accessories, etc.
• Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and gather information for design proposals.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Assist in AirBnB and remodels selections when needed.
• Manage project timelines and budgets effectively, ensuring projects are completed within scope.

Requirements

• Proven experience in interior design or a related field is preferred.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Sketchup, and Bluebeam is preferred.
• Knowledge of lighting design principles and sales techniques is a plus.
• Strong skills in budgeting and project management are highly desirable.
• Familiarity with contract documentation processes is beneficial.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.
• A keen eye for aesthetics combined with practical design solutions.
