About the position

At Robb & Stucky, we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to create their own unique and stylish home. As an Interior Designer/Design Consultant in our Naples showroom, you will be responsible for conceptualizing and creating visually stunning and functional interior designs. This role requires a strong eye for detail and a firm understanding of design principles, color, and texture. You will work closely with customers to help them find the perfect pieces to express their individuality and transform their spaces. Your responsibilities will also include developing a solid client base and pipeline, processing sales transactions, returns, and special orders, while ensuring that all necessary documentation is accurate and complete. In this position, you will work one-on-one with customers who visit our well-appointed retail showrooms. You will prepare design presentations on a project basis, utilizing visual media such as fabric, finishes, photos, and floor plans, either in-house or digitally. You will provide accurate measurements to our CAD team for presentations and utilize room planner programs or CAD assistance for studio presentations to clients. Additionally, you will assume responsibility for efficiently handling sales functions, completing sales records and reports, and establishing and maintaining good interpersonal relations with clients. It is essential to project a genuinely positive company image to the public while providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or 2 to 4 years related experience and/or training in high-end furniture sales.
  • ASID certification preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent communication and administrative skills required.
  • Experience with CAD and moderate proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Valid Driver License with a clean driving record.
  • Reliable transportation with verification of minimum state required car insurance.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Solid math abilities.
