Locus Design Collaborative is seeking a mid- to senior-level Interior Designer with corporate workplace experience to join their dynamic architecture firm. The role involves working on a variety of commercial interior projects, including workplace, building repositioning, retail, and restaurant design, primarily in Fairfield County, CT, and Westchester County, NY. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong organizational skills and a collaborative spirit.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial design presentations.
• Select and implement full FF&E package.
• Draft designs using AutoCAD.
• Create 3D models as needed.
• Collaborate with team members on larger projects and work independently on smaller projects.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in interior design.
• Formal education in architecture or a related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
• Strong verbal, written, and graphic communication skills.
• Solid organizational skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.

Nice-to-haves

• 3D modeling experience.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, PowerPoint, and InDesign.
