About the position

Renovating KC Design + Remodel is seeking a talented and creative Interior Designer to join our dynamic team. The Interior Designer will be responsible for all aspects of interior design, including the selection of finishes and materials for assigned projects. This role will also extend into the construction phase, where the designer will provide quality control to ensure design integrity and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budgets.
• Develop and present design concepts, including mood boards, sketches, and 3D renderings.
• Select and specify materials, finishes, furnishings, and fixtures for residential remodeling projects.
• Prepare detailed design plans and documentation for construction.
• Work closely with the project management and construction teams to ensure design intent is maintained throughout the project.
• Conduct site visits to oversee the implementation of design elements and address any issues.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and products.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints.
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain strong client relationships.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in residential interior design.
• Proficiency in design software such as Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong understanding of construction processes and materials.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Creative and innovative thinker with a passion for design.
