About the position

Chandlar Glassett Interiors is seeking a talented and collaborative Interior Designer to join their team in Saratoga Springs, UT. This role offers a flexible schedule with a mix of remote and on-site work, focusing on developing design content alongside senior designers. The ideal candidate will manage multiple projects, ensuring design follow-through from initial concepts to installations while maintaining strong client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Draft cabinetry, tile, and wall details using AutoCAD.
• Ensure design follow-through from preliminary drawings to installations, including site visits, sourcing, scheduling, negotiating, order tracking, and sample procurement.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients when leading projects.
• Design in various aesthetics based on client needs while ensuring beauty, functionality, and uniqueness.
• Initiate completed concepts for review by senior designers and accept critiques positively.
• Maintain productivity and stay on task during work hours.
• Collaborate effectively with the team and ask clarifying questions to achieve seamless design.

Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on design/construction site experience, preferably with a specific design firm.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, and basic Google Suite.
• Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design.
• Well-rounded knowledge of furniture, furniture vendors, finishes, materials, and other specifications.
• Basic construction knowledge.
• Superior self-motivation to manage a flexible schedule and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
• Proven ability to self-manage, prioritize tasks, and demonstrate professional maturity.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced, work-from-home environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of Ivy software is a plus.
• Own form of transportation is required.
• Having a personal computer, preferably Apple, is a plus.
