About the position

Silver Mountain Interiors is seeking a skilled Interior Designer to join their team in Park City, UT. The role involves collaborating with clients to create and implement design plans for luxury homes in resort destinations, managing the design process, and ensuring all project-related activities are coordinated effectively.

Responsibilities

• Work with clients to create and execute plans for projects.
• Create and manage the design process for projects, including the development of design specifications, project plans, construction documents, and finish schedules.
• Assist in the coordination of all project-related activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Interior Designer or Design Assistant required.
• Experience with general construction documents (i.e., drawings, specifications, elevations, etc.).
• Ability to work independently on projects without supervision or guidance from a Project Manager or other team members.
• Ability to read drawings and specifications (i.e., construction documents).
• Ability to understand general construction documents (i.e., blueprints, specifications, etc.).

Nice-to-haves

• Proficiency in autoCAD or equivalent software.
• 5 years of experience in interior design (preferred).
• Associate's degree in a related field (preferred).
