We are seeking a talented and experienced Full-Time Interior Designer with a strong background in custom home design and construction knowledge. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a passion for creative design, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively. You will collaborate closely with our design team, clients, and vendors to bring our clients' dream homes to life. As an Interior Designer, you will be responsible for developing and executing design concepts for custom homes, including spatial planning and material selections. You will support other lead designers in various project phases, from initial design through to final execution. Presenting design ideas and concepts to clients is a key part of the role, ensuring their vision is accurately realized. Coordination with clients, vendors, and on-site construction teams is essential to ensure seamless project delivery. Additionally, you will curate and recommend design elements specific to custom home projects, including finishes, cabinetry, and more. You will also design and stage model homes to showcase aesthetic appeal and functionality.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute design concepts for custom homes, including spatial planning and material selections.
  • Support other lead designers in various project phases, from initial design through to final execution.
  • Present design ideas and concepts to clients, ensuring their vision is accurately realized.
  • Work with clients, vendors, and on-site construction teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Curate and recommend design elements specific to custom home projects, including finishes, cabinetry, and more.
  • Design and stage model homes to showcase aesthetic appeal and functionality.

Requirements

  • Degree in Interior Design or related field.
  • Proven experience in custom home design and familiarity with the home building industry.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and general computer applications.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes and ability to read and interpret architectural and construction plans.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD (preferred).
  • Strong ability to interpret construction and design documents.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of interior design processes from concept to completion.
  • Excellent organizational skills and capacity to multitask effectively.
  • Superior communication and presentation skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a reliable, dependable work ethic.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Revit is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
