Widmer Interiors, a prominent MillerKnoll office furniture dealership, is seeking a full-time Interior Designer for our Peoria, IL location. This role is integral to our mission of delivering innovative and functional interior spaces tailored to the needs of our diverse clientele, which includes business, healthcare, education, and government sectors across Central and Northern Illinois. Our dedicated team of over 35 employees prides itself on collaboration and creativity, ensuring that each project reflects the unique vision of our clients. As an Interior Designer, you will work closely with a team of professionals to conceptualize and execute exceptional interior furniture spaces. This position is ideal for technical designers who excel in space planning and possess a keen eye for detail. You will be responsible for utilizing CET (3D design software) for space planning, drafting building shells in AutoCAD, and creating detailed product specifications and proposals. Your ability to communicate effectively and present ideas clearly will be crucial in collaborating with clients and team members alike. We are looking for candidates who are passionate about interior design and have a strong foundation in the principles of space planning. A Bachelor's degree in Interior Design is required, and prior experience with office furniture space planning and specification will be considered a significant advantage.
