About the position

The Interior Designer will lead the production of deliverable documents through various phases of design and construction for Senior Living and other Institutional Projects. This role involves managing client relationships, overseeing project management, and ensuring quality control throughout the design process. The position is hybrid, requiring both on-site and remote work, and focuses on delivering high-quality design solutions for a range of projects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead production of deliverable documents through Schematic Design, Development Design, Construction Documentation, and Construction Administration phases.
  • Manage FF&E selection and daily client interactions.
  • Oversee project management and ensure quality control evaluations of documents.
  • Support multi-family/mixed-use and large-scale commercial design and construction documentation.
  • Provide project leadership and documentation coordination by leading a team to develop design drawings and technical documentation.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in interior design or related field.
  • Proficiency in Schematic Design, Development Design, Construction Documentation, and Construction Administration.
  • Experience with FF&E selection and quality control processes.
  • Strong client management and project management skills.
  • Ability to lead a team and coordinate documentation efforts.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in Senior Living projects.
  • Familiarity with multi-family and mixed-use projects.
  • Knowledge of large-scale commercial design.
