About the position

We are seeking a highly creative and experienced Senior Interior Designer to manage and execute complex design projects from concept to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong design aesthetic, the ability to mentor other designers informally, and a comprehensive understanding of project management within the interior design industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage interior design projects from concept development through installation, ensuring design excellence and adherence to project timelines.
• Collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs, goals, and budget while providing expert design consultation.
• Develop comprehensive design concepts, including mood boards, sketches, and presentations.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
• Informally mentor designers, providing guidance and fostering growth.
• Source and select materials, finishes, and furnishings to meet project requirements.
• Maintain awareness of current design trends, industry standards, and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience as an interior designer, with a proven track record of managing high-end residential or commercial projects.
• Strong portfolio showcasing luxury interior design work, including conceptual and technical drawings.
• Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients, contractors, and team members.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• A keen eye for detail, design trends, and innovative solutions.
