About the position

Haskell is seeking a creative mid-career Interior Designer to join their Design & Consulting Team. This role involves collaborating with Architects, Engineers, and construction experts to develop impactful spaces across a variety of projects, including commercial and government facilities. The position emphasizes creativity, collaboration, and the opportunity to influence dynamic projects while ensuring design compliance and high-quality documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine design concepts and space planning.
• Select finish palettes for projects.
• Create presentations and coordinate with clients and project teams.
• Ensure design compliance with codes and standards while producing high-quality construction documents.
• Manage construction administration tasks, including field inspections and handling RFIs.
• Assist with project budgets and contribute to professional development and industry engagement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design from a CIDA-accredited school.
• 5-10 years of interior design experience with a strong portfolio.
• NCIDQ Certification and/or certification as a Professional Interior Designer.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft programs.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
