The Interior Designer will play a crucial role in understanding and knowing the client, delivering a concierge-type experience throughout the life of the project. This position involves driving the selection of interior finishes to meet project deadlines while providing options and solutions that align with the client's goals, budgets, and expectations. The essential functions of this role include collaborating with architectural designers to inform and develop key elements of the project, troubleshooting potential problems associated with client goals and selections, and meeting with both the architectural designer and client to understand the overall project, goals, timelines, and budgets. Additionally, the Interior Designer will prepare, organize, and lead all client selection meetings, assist in the request-for-proposal process by preparing and communicating with vendors and suppliers, and develop detailed interior design packages that include the specification of materials, fixtures, and finishes. Coordination with dealers and manufacturers is essential to meet client and project goals, and the designer will also conduct client presentations and work with external consultants, product representatives, dealers, and fabricators to ensure a seamless project execution.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with architectural designers to inform and develop key elements of the project while troubleshooting potential problems associated with client goals and selections.
  • Meet with architectural designer and client to understand the overall project, goals, timelines, and budgets.
  • Prepare, organize, and lead all client selection meetings.
  • Assist in the request-for-proposal process by preparing and communicating with vendors and suppliers.
  • Develop detailed interior design packages including the specification of materials, fixtures, and finishes while coordinating with dealers and manufacturers to meet client and project goals.
  • Conduct client presentations and work with external consultants, product representatives, dealers, and fabricators.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design
  • Five years minimum experience in interior design and residential remodeling
  • Excellent organization, communication, and command of office and interior design software.
