About the position

The Interior Designer at Robb & Stucky Furniture Interiors is responsible for creating visually stunning and functional interior designs while building a solid client base. This role involves working directly with customers in showrooms, preparing design presentations, and managing sales transactions. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of design principles and have a professional sales background, ensuring accurate documentation and exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with customers in retail showrooms.
• Prepare design presentations using visual media such as fabric, finishes, photos, and floor plans.
• Provide accurate measurements to the CAD Team for presentations.
• Handle sales functions efficiently, including processing transactions and returns.
• Establish and maintain good interpersonal relations with clients.
• Project a positive company image to the public.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or 2 to 4 years of related experience in high-end furniture sales.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.
• Excellent communication and administrative skills.
• Experience with CAD and moderate proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Valid Driver License with a clean driving record.

Nice-to-haves

• ASID certification preferred.
