About the position

We are seeking an experienced Interior Designer to join our design firm, which specializes in custom residential interior design in Park City, Utah. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, a self-starter, and knowledgeable in various aspects of architecture, interior design, and drafting. This full-time position offers a competitive hourly wage and the opportunity to work remotely while collaborating with a team of designers to create unique and elevated designs for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with design team on concepts and design development
• Knowledge of high-end furniture vendors & other industry resources
• Participate in all phases of design projects assigned, including space planning, furniture layouts, CAD drawings, product specification, budgeting, presentations to clients, and job site supervision
• Collaborate with a team of designers to achieve unique designs specific to each client
• Proactively anticipate the needs of the client and project, moving through projects efficiently
• Maintain and update finish/fixture schedules to communicate design selections and details
• Generate and maintain client materials for projects, including correspondence, drawings, and binders
• Provide accurate time records for both billable and non-billable hours
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills with clients and internal colleagues
• Meet or exceed monthly goals

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in interior design, interior architecture, or a related field; or an Associate Degree with a minimum of 2 years of work experience in lieu of a four-year degree
• Minimum of two years of sales and/or interior design experience
• Portfolio demonstrating training in color coordination, product coordination, drafting, and space planning
• Knowledge of high-end residential products and the ability to specify
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and the Microsoft Suite
