About the position

The Interior Designer at Haskell will play a crucial role in shaping impactful spaces through innovative design. This mid-career position involves collaboration with a diverse team of architects, engineers, and construction experts to bring exceptional design visions to life across various project types, including commercial and government facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and refining design concepts, space planning, and selecting finish palettes.
  • Creating presentations and coordinating with clients and project teams.
  • Ensuring design compliance with codes and standards while producing high-quality construction documents.
  • Managing construction administration tasks, including field inspections and handling RFIs.
  • Assisting with project budgets and contributing to professional development and industry engagement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design from a CIDA-accredited school.
  • 5-10 years of interior design experience with a strong portfolio.
  • NCIDQ Certification and/or certification as a Professional Interior Designer.
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft programs.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
