About the position

We are a well-known local architecture firm in Denver, currently seeking an Interior Designer to join our team. This position offers a hybrid work schedule, allowing for flexibility while promoting collaboration and mentoring among staff. Our firm prides itself on providing diverse perspectives in the art, science, and practice of architecture and design across various project types, including Urban Living, Education, Resorts, Civic, Hospitality, Senior Living, and Workplace. As an Interior Designer, you will be involved in experience-based design and project story building, which are essential for informing creative design solutions. You will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with a team of talented professionals. In this role, you will apply your advanced knowledge and techniques of interior design principles and practices across multiple project types. You will act independently on various interior design tasks while receiving guidance on overall objectives and critical issues. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to mentor junior designers and delegate tasks to team members, taking ownership of overall project responsibilities. Your expertise in technical design, particularly in hospitality brand standards and FF&E development, will be crucial as you collaborate with internal architects and designers on large-scale projects. We are looking for someone who is not only skilled in modeling and visual communication but also thrives in a collaborative team environment. Responsibilities

  • Apply advanced knowledge and techniques of interior design principles and practices across multiple project types.
  • Act independently on various interior design tasks while receiving guidance on overall objectives and critical issues.
  • Mentor junior designers and delegate tasks to team members.
  • Collaborate with internal architects and designers on large-scale projects.
  • Develop experience-based design and project story building to inform creative design solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with hospitality brand standards and FF&E development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design or equivalent.
  • 5-7 years of interior design experience.
  • Proficient in Revit modeling.
  • Expertise in interior architecture and space planning.
  • Proficient in graphic programs such as Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Modeling and 3D skills in Sketchup, Enscape, and/or VRay are a plus.
  • Experience coordinating and collaborating with design consultants and owner's representatives is a must.
  • NCIDQ certification is preferred.
