About the position

We are seeking a creative and experienced interior designer to join our dynamic architecture and interior design studio in San Francisco. This role is essential to our design team, focusing on modern residential and commercial projects, particularly in furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FFE) and interior detailing. The ideal candidate will be passionate about design and will influence the firm's design philosophy while overseeing projects from inception to completion.

Responsibilities

  • Assist and participate in all phases of design from conceptual design to construction administration.
  • Prepare, coordinate, and complete construction document packages.
  • Select furnishings, materials, fixtures, and hardware.
  • Communicate with vendors and showrooms, assist with procurement.
  • Collaborate with various teams to establish goals, schedules, and budgets.
  • Monitor day-to-day construction administration activities, coordinating with contractors, owners, and consultants to maintain project progress.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in architecture or Interior Design.
  • 7+ years of working experience in designing and detailing high-end single-family, multi-family complexes, and commercial tenant improvement projects.
  • Familiarity with California and Bay Area planning and building codes.
  • Technical knowledge of high-end residential and commercial projects.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and graphic communication skills.
  • Proficient in Revit and Rhino.
  • Reside in the Bay Area and able to commute to San Francisco.
