About the position

AH Design Group is seeking a full-time Interior Designer to assist the lead designer in creating innovative and functional interior spaces. The role involves sourcing materials, creating CAD drawings, and ensuring timely project execution while collaborating with the design team.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing materials and furnishings within clients' budget
• Creating CAD drawings of Reflected Ceiling Plans, bathroom elevations, plumbing and lighting plans, millwork, cabinetry, and built-ins
• Developing floor plans and space planning
• Obtaining samples for client presentations
• Creating mood boards, renderings, and layout drawings
• Communicating regularly with the team on the progress of each project
• Ensuring that all selections are ordered in a timely fashion to avoid project delays

Requirements

• Proven working experience in designing interior spaces
• Expertise in layout, color, lighting, materials selection, custom furniture, and installations
• Creative talent, imagination, and an eye for design
• Ability to visualize and conceptualize different design aesthetics
• Highly proficient in AutoCAD and Photoshop
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in interior design required
