About the position

The Temporary Interior Designer at Studio M Staging will lead the initiative to upgrade the company's staging inventory by overseeing the full cycle of sourcing, purchasing, and procuring high-quality furnishings and decor. This role is essential for creating stylish and market-ready homes that appeal to a broad range of buyers, requiring a designer with a strong understanding of current trends and timeless design principles.

Responsibilities

• Source high-quality, on-trend furnishings and decor that align with the company's staging style.
• Develop and manage a design plan for new inventory that caters to various staging needs.
• Oversee the procurement process, including vendor selection and budget alignment.
• Track and manage orders, ensuring timely delivery and quality checks.
• Coordinate delivery schedules and liaise with logistics providers.
• Maintain meticulous records of purchases and delivery status.
• Collaborate with the staging team to incorporate new inventory pieces into staging projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in interior design, home staging, or similar role.
• Proven ability to identify and source high-quality furnishings and decor.
• Exceptional organizational skills with a detail-oriented approach to project and time management.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills for working with vendors.
• Knowledge of design software and tools for managing inventory and creating mood boards.
• Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
