About the position

Absolute Design Interiors is seeking a talented Interior Designer to join our expanding team in Omaha, NE. This position can be either full-time or part-time, depending on the candidate's availability and preference. We are looking for someone who is not only skilled in interior design but also passionate about remodeling spaces, new construction, and furniture procurement. Our design team is known for being self-motivated and extremely detail-oriented, with a keen eye for design. As an Interior Designer, you will be responsible for designing and managing large-scale remodel projects. This includes coordinating all selections for new construction homes and ensuring effective communication between clients, subcontractors, vendors, and other team members. You will produce drawings and images to help clients visualize your designs, and engage in space planning and material selection for furniture projects based on the client's needs. The role requires a strong understanding of finishes, materials, and color selections, as well as the ability to execute a design project from start to finish. We value excellent communication and time management skills, as these are essential for successfully navigating the various aspects of design projects. Responsibilities

  • Designing and project managing large scale remodel projects.

Requirements

  • Degree in Interior Design or a related field.
  • Extreme attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Knowledge of Sketchup or AutoCAD.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of finishes, materials, and color selections.
  • Experience in executing a design project from start to finish.
  • Self-driven with the ability to prioritize tasks.
