About the position

The Interior Designer at 4Ever Remodeling plays a crucial role in assisting clients to create their dream homes. This position involves overseeing the design process from initial client meetings to final product delivery, ensuring that client visions are realized through effective communication and design execution. The designer will work closely with clients, manage design proposals, and collaborate with the design team to bring projects to life.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule initial meetings with clients to take measurements and discuss design needs.
  • Prepare design drawings and meet clients at the showroom to review designs and products.
  • Be proficient in design software such as Chief Architect, Auto-Cad, and 20/20.
  • Host meetings in the showroom to present design ideas and selections.
  • Revise drawings and selections based on client feedback and prepare cost sheets.
  • Present final drawings, selections, and budgets to clients.
  • Obtain necessary costs from vendors for custom products.
  • Update spreadsheets with selected items and costs.
  • Prepare change orders and collect payments for products.
  • Order necessary products and coordinate deliveries with the project manager.
  • Report project completion to the management team with necessary notes and guides.
  • Maintain the showroom library with the latest samples.
  • Support the management team with design-related questions.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Interior Design or related field.
  • 3 years of experience in interior design.
  • Proficiency in design software including Chief Architect, Auto-Cad, 20/20, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact with clients effectively.
  • Experience in ordering cabinets and products from various vendors.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Lightroom.
  • Strong proofreading and editing skills for grammar and punctuation.
  • Top-level internet research skills.

Benefits

  • Salary range of $75,000 - $100,000 per year.
  • 4% commissions on sold products, ranging from $10,000 to $30,000 after onboarding expectations are complete.
