About the position

We are seeking a passionate and creative Interior Design Consultant to join our team at Change Everything Furniture & Design Solutions. As a Design Consultant, you will work closely with customers in our showroom or their homes to craft individualized design solutions that align with their preferences and budgets. Your role will involve private shopping experiences, space planning, custom furniture upholstery and measurements, product selection, and overall project design. You will be responsible for promoting and selling our products and services while ensuring an exceptional customer experience. Success in this role is demonstrated through creating customized designs that meet customer needs and achieve sales goals. Design Consultants must meet or exceed established Minimum Monthly Sales, and other benchmarks that Change Everything determines to contribute to the company's success and the professional growth of its team. In this position, you will create personalized design solutions that meet client needs and achieve sales goals. You will conduct private in-store shopping experiences to assist customers with product selections and design tips, as well as in-home consultations to assess client needs and present comprehensive design plans. Utilizing social media platforms to build a sales pipeline, engage with clients, and promote the Change Everything brand will also be a key part of your responsibilities. Collaboration with team members in staff meetings to share and refine design ideas is essential, as is maintaining a neat and organized showroom that adheres to brand standards. Providing exceptional customer service before and after the sale, including following up on order status and addressing any concerns, is crucial to your success in this role.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a design-related field.
• Minimum of one (1) year of practical interior design experience.
• Strong knowledge of interior design principles and effective sales techniques.
• Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas.
• Exceptional communication skills, including active listening, and professionalism in verbal and written interactions.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office, POS, and CRM systems.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
