About the position

The Interior Designer at KI will collaborate with Sales Specialists, dealers, and customers to create functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces while adhering to building codes and inspection requirements. This remote position, based in the Orlando area, involves providing support in CAD/CET, space planning, and project qualification, as well as participating in customer presentations and ensuring a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Create attractive designs and layouts for various projects
• Meet with clients to understand their objectives and desires
• Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and team members to address client needs
• Prepare presentations for clients
• Create quotes for clients and ensure full workflow is followed
• Maintain industry knowledge to stay relevant

Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Architectural Design, Interior Design, or a related field
• Some previous commercial furniture design experience desired
• Strong AutoCAD proficiency and rendering skills required
• CET desired
• Strong visual and spatial awareness
