About the position

The Interior is seeking an experienced Lead Designer to join our team in Dallas, TX. In this part-time role, you will be responsible for selling our comprehensive home interior design and remodeling services to both new and established clients. Your primary focus will be to develop custom designs that cater to the unique needs of each project while fostering long-term relationships with clients to generate future sales opportunities. As an Interior Designer and sales associate, you will engage with clients on a variety of projects, ranging from residential to commercial spaces, ensuring that their visions are brought to life with creativity and precision. In this position, you will collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget constraints. You will be tasked with merchandising the showroom sales floor and developing design concepts that you will present to clients for approval. Utilizing computer graphics and mood boards, you will select furniture, fixtures, materials, and finishes that align with the client's vision and project requirements. Additionally, you will oversee the implementation of designs to ensure they meet quality standards and deadlines, while staying updated on the latest trends, materials, and technologies in the interior design industry. We are looking for a passionate designer who possesses excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail. Your ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment will be crucial to your success in this role. A portfolio showcasing your previous projects and design capabilities will be essential in demonstrating your expertise to potential clients.

Responsibilities
