About the position

The Interior Designer at Pinnacle Design will be responsible for managing projects from initial programming and space planning through to construction administration. This role emphasizes collaboration with technical teams to develop design solutions and requires a strong ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The position is ideal for motivated problem solvers who take pride in delivering quality design and documentation, while also ensuring that client needs and project demands are met.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from programming, space planning, schematic design, through construction administration.
• Communicate with the technical team to discuss design solutions during development and documentation phases.
• Work independently and collaboratively with team members as required by the project.
• Coordinate directly with engineers and consultants to maintain project quality and schedule.
• Create and develop conceptual space plans, pricing plans, and design concepts for various project types.
• Determine and implement code requirements into project designs.
• Create presentation drawings and renderings to convey design concepts to clients.
• Lead projects independently from programming through construction administration.
• Research and specify finish materials, furniture, and products.

Requirements

• Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Interior Design.
• Minimum 2-3 years of related interior design experience.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Photoshop.
• Excellent hand sketching presentation skills.
• General knowledge of building systems, materials, codes, and ADA guidelines.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work on a team as well as independently.
