About the position

We are seeking a talented and creative Interior Designer to join our team. As an Interior Designer, you will be responsible for creating functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces for our clients. This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your design skills and contribute to the transformation of various residential and commercial spaces. You will collaborate closely with clients to understand their design preferences, requirements, and budget constraints, ensuring that each project aligns with their vision and needs. In this role, you will develop design concepts and present them to clients for approval. You will create detailed floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings using design software such as AutoCAD, Rhino, and Sketchup. Selecting appropriate materials, finishes, furniture, lighting fixtures, and accessories for each project will be a key part of your responsibilities. You will also coordinate with contractors, architects, and other professionals to ensure the successful execution of design plans, managing multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to project timelines and budgets. Conducting site visits to assess project progress and provide guidance as needed will be essential. Staying up-to-date with the latest trends in interior design and incorporating innovative ideas into your designs will help you create stunning spaces that exceed client expectations. Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Interior Designer or similar role
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Sketchup, Bluebeam, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant design software
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey design concepts to clients
  • Ability to create accurate technical drawings and specifications using CAD software
  • Experience in lighting sales or working with lighting fixtures is a plus
  • Knowledge of contract documents and experience working on renovation projects is preferred
