About the position

As a Designer at Nell Hill's, you will assist clients in planning and designing spaces, providing product information and exceptional service to ensure client satisfaction. This entry-level position plays a vital role in helping clients create spaces they love while also engaging in retail sales activities when not working on design projects.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on design factors such as space planning, layout, and color schemes.
• Collaborate with clients to determine their preferences, purpose, functionality, budget, and other design factors.
• Prepare presentations including quotes, floor plans, and product specifications for client approval.
• Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction with products ordered and resolve any post-order issues promptly.
• Maintain a list of clients and systematically check in with them as part of clienteling initiatives.
• Work on the sales floor to gain additional business when not actively engaged in design projects.
