About the position

Chambers, one of the nation's leading Planning, Architecture, and Interior Design firms, is seeking an Interior Designer with 3-8 years of experience. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor or Master's degree in Interior Design and have proven experience with upscale hospitality or residential interiors. This role requires an ability to envision and enact design concepts that enhance experiences, ensuring that the designs not only meet aesthetic standards but also improve the functionality and enjoyment of the spaces created. The Interior Designer will be responsible for leading select projects, collaborating closely with a Senior Interior Designer and/or the Director of Interior Design. This position also involves serving as a representative for Chambers, engaging with clients, suppliers, vendors, and colleagues within the industry. The designer will maintain a strong presence in professional organizations such as ASID, NCIDQ, and NEWH, which is essential for networking and staying updated on industry trends. Additionally, the designer will engage with high-end private club clientele and other key stakeholders, ensuring that their needs and expectations are met throughout the design process. Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills are crucial for success in this role, as is fluency in AutoCAD, REVIT, or other BIM software, along with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Demonstrated sketching ability is preferred, and candidates with NCIDQ certification and LEED accreditation will be given preference.

Responsibilities

Requirements
