We are currently seeking a qualified and passionate Intermediate Designer to assist with a variety of restaurant and hospitality projects. This position requires in-person attendance at our studio in Los Angeles. The ideal candidate will have a strong conceptual design process and the ability to manage small projects independently. The role involves developing construction documents, including detailing for multiple projects, and requires a keen attention to detail and organizational skills. The candidate must also possess excellent communication skills and a strong interest in lighting design is a plus. The Intermediate Designer will be expected to demonstrate strong sourcing knowledge for materials and FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment). Proficiency in design software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Photoshop, In-Design, Sketchup, and the Microsoft Office Suite is essential. Additional skills in 3D rendering software, such as V-Ray and Enscape, are considered advantageous. Responsibilities

  • Assist with a variety of restaurant and hospitality projects.

  • Participate in the collaborative design process with clients and artisans.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in interior design or architecture from an accredited institution.
  • 3+ years of design experience, with at least 1 year in hospitality.
  • Strong conceptual design process.
  • Experience in developing construction documents for multiple projects.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
  • Ability to manage small projects independently.
  • Strong sourcing knowledge for materials and FF&E.

Nice-to-haves

  • Strong interest and grasp on lighting design.
  • Additional 3D rendering skills, such as V-Ray and Enscape.
