About the position

Nicole Fuller Interiors is seeking an Intermediate Interior Designer to join their dynamic team in NYC. The role focuses on luxury interior design, requiring a passion for creating exceptional spaces in private residential, multi-family, and commercial sectors. The designer will collaborate closely with the senior designer and clients to develop innovative concepts and ensure project goals are met.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the senior designer, vendors, sub-contractors, and clients to develop innovative interior design concepts for luxury residential and commercial projects.
• Contribute to the development of interior design schemes from concept through to completion, ensuring designs align with project goals and client expectations.
• Produce detailed drawings, specifications, and documentation to communicate design intent and support the construction process.
• Source materials, finishes, and furnishings that meet project requirements and budget constraints.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of local experience working within the private residential, multi-family, and commercial interiors.
• Highly proficient in AutoCAD and Sketchup.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and Studio Designer.
• Extensive knowledge of ID principles and practices, including FFE, furniture systems, and specifications.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong design portfolio showcasing creative thinking and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, and/or Architecture.

Nice-to-haves

• Hand sketching to illustrate ideas within the studio and with clients is a huge plus.
