About the position

The Intermediate IT Project Manager will facilitate the successful definition and delivery of IT projects, ensuring they meet specified requirements and customer satisfaction. This role involves managing multiple projects while adhering to constraints of scope, quality, time, and cost, and supporting day-to-day activities within the specified business area.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the definition and delivery of IT projects.
• Manage one or more projects within the constraints of scope, quality, time, and cost.
• Implement projects and support day-to-day activities in the business area.
• Manage project budgeting and time estimates.
• Organize and manage exempt employees and contractors effectively.
• Define project scope and gather/document requirements.
• Plan resources and contingencies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 3-4 years of experience in Project Management.
• Experience with legacy and emerging technologies, application architecture, database technologies, and system design.
• Experience in issue/study definition, project and methodology design, statistical modeling, and data interpretation.
• Business acumen and experience managing application development projects.
• Exemplary leadership skills.
• Goal-oriented and action-focused.

Nice-to-haves

• Certification or training in Project Management preferred.
• Broad knowledge of Highmark and/or the health care industry.
