About the position

Data Intelligence, LLC (DI) is searching for a full-time Intermediate Oracle Database Developer in the San Diego area. This is a hybrid position that offers the opportunity to work both remotely and on-site. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in PL/SQL programming and a strong understanding of Oracle database management. The role requires proficiency in writing packages, procedures, functions, and exception blocks, as well as the ability to utilize various SQL commands effectively. Candidates should be familiar with advanced SQL concepts such as analytical functions, sub-queries, and the use of cursors. In addition to PL/SQL expertise, the candidate must have experience working with JSON objects, including creating, reading, and writing JSON data to tables. A solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles is also essential. The position may involve analyzing and tracing code, so strong analytical skills are a must. Familiarity with a Linux environment is required, and experience as a database administrator (DBA) is highly desirable. Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain PL/SQL packages, procedures, and functions.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries for performance.
  • Analyze and trace existing code for improvements and debugging.
  • Work with JSON objects to create, read, and write data in Oracle databases.
  • Collaborate with team members to support database administration tasks.
  • Utilize object-oriented programming principles in database development.
  • Participate in system development and engineering projects.

Requirements
