About the position

The Medical Education Production Intern will gain practical work experience while providing temporary administrative or laboratory support to the School of Medicine. This role involves training in educational materials production, marketing, and continuing medical education operations, with a focus on video editing, data tracking, and quality review.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in recording livestreams of CME activities.
  • Reviews and edits recorded CME materials to identify and correct copyright, medical education compliance, and A/V quality issues.
  • Identifies and organizes references from presentations.
  • Drafts session descriptions, lists of health topics, and other presentation metadata.
  • Creates and distributes marketing materials on social media and other channels to promote medical education activities.

Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in high school or be a high school graduate (or equivalent secondary education) or enrolled in an institution of higher education.

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

  • Proficiency in office productivity and collaborative tools e.g., Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, etc.
  • Experience in video editing and production using tools (such as e.g. Adobe Premier).
  • Active on social media and familiar with social media marketing.
