About the position

The Business Analyst Intern position at Lumen is a 10-week summer internship designed for rising seniors enrolled in a 4-year accredited college or university. The intern will support the development of the 2026 Acceleration & Growth Team plan by collaborating with various integrated teams to create a comprehensive strategy and plan. This role emphasizes communication, organization, and strategic thinking, providing an opportunity for interns to gain hands-on experience in business operations and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of the 2026 Acceleration & Growth Team plan.
• Review artifacts from the 2025 planning process to build out the strategy and plan.
• Collaborate with finance, HR, revenue operations, business operations, and programs to create a multi-track plan.
• Develop communications and organize planning meetings.
• Compile a comprehensive 2026 plan.

Requirements

• Enrolled at a 4-year accredited college or university, with rising senior level education status at the start of the internship.
• Graduating between August 2025 and May 2027.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis.
• Experience with data and analytics, particularly using Power BI.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week during the 10-week program.
